If you've made it this far we've probably had a personal conversation about what Merge is trying to accomplish. You've heard the vision, understand the need and are ready to help make it happen. All I can say is "thank you!" Thank you for sharing in more than a project or a good idea. Thank you for sharing in a mission that Jesus called us to. Thank you for stepping into a tradition of millions of believers throughout thousands of years. Missionaries have been relying on "houses of peace" since Jesus first sent out the Seventy-Two (Luke 10:5-7). To you and your house I say "the kingdom of God has come near to you."

If I might venture to say one more thing, it's this; to those that rejected the ministry of those early disciples Jesus prescribed his missionaries go into its streets and say (among other things) "the kingdom of God has come near." In other words, the same message was an encouragement to some and a warning to others. I believe the difference had to do with their relationship to God.
